The organized unit of the United Methodist Women (UMW) shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons throught Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the Global Ministries of the Church.

The General Meeting and Program is held at 1:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month. Every other month there is a potluck luncheon at 12:00 noon. Exceptions are November when there is no general meeting and December when the luncheon is furnished by the UMW.
On other Tuesdays of the month, Bazaar Workshops begin at 9:30 am, with devotions and prayer time. In January, there is a group study--either a Bible study or one of the mission studies provided by the UMW. Starting in February work begins on projects for the Annual Bazaar held the first Saturday in November. Proceeds from the Bazaar are spent on mission projects, especially focusing on those projects which benefit women and children. The projects include local, state, and foreign missions concerns.
