Programs
Our congregation numbers approximately 350 members with an average attendance of 110. We work to ensure a diverse and vibrant set of church activities. These activities include: Sunday services; Sunday School for all ages; Vacation Bible School; weekly Bible studies; monthly fellowship dinners; recordings of Sunday services for shut-ins; youth group; a nursery; a children's ministry; lay chaplain program; and periodic faith renewal services.
Mission projects receive regular attention. The United Methodist Women and the United Methodist Men carry out these projects. UMW holds an annual fall bazaar that raises thousands of dollars for missions. UMM engage in various work projects locally and they have also "adopted" the Circle of Care Boys Ranch where they do various repairs.
Our superb music is provided by volunteers led by two very talented musicians with degrees from the Sherwood Music Conservatory of Chicago.
Our church participates in the Lake Eufaula Area Ministerial Alliance and is very active in the church based program "God's Helping Hands." Through this work our church contributes greatly to the MacIntosh County Youth and Family Center which provides temporary living quarters for distressed and abused young people as well as food and clothing to the poor on a regular basis.
Through the church's Lay Speaker Program, the church provides assistance to smaller churches in the area and provides a seasonal witness to visitors to Lake Eufaula through the Lake Area United Ministry.
